Sacred Bodies is an evolving sculptural body of work that explores the role of bearing witness-- to see and be seen-- and to the act of being present through ritual gestures and sacred place making. Referencing the ancient art of stacking stones, emerging from the egg, building towards the sky and leaving a bit of ourselves behind or taking a small piece with us, we are all participants in our sacred and profane world. Sanctuary invites the viewer to enter, breathe, and soften within the stillness and glow of the Sacred Bodies. Guests are invited to move quietly throughout the installation, finding spaces for rest and reflection.
