Installations allow the viewer to move through the room and become a part of the work, shifting perspectives and integrating personal histories and experience into the space itself. Transforming and revealing using a wide variety of materials, Kris’ current work allows viewers to become participants-- enveloped in color, texture and the physical presence of the art, the space, the performers, and the individual-- connecting past and present in physical movement and transformative spaces that speak through the visual, personal, and performative layers.
